USB SPEAKERS

USB speakers are the easiest option for building a surround system with EMOSON. The USB cable only provides power — the audio signal travels through a 3.5mm aux cable connected directly to the sound card. It's that simple: USB for power, AUX for audio.

To use them with EMOSON STUDIO, connect the 3.5mm jack from each speaker pair to the corresponding sound card output. With 3 pairs you have a 5.1, or with 4 pairs a 7.1. The USB cable connects to a powered USB hub or directly to the PC, just to supply power to the speakers.

Since USB speakers draw very little power, you can power several from a single mains-powered USB hub. If the distance between the PC and the speakers is long, use USB extension cables (for power only) along with 3.5mm aux cables to reach each location.

• Best if all speakers are the same model for balanced sound.

• Layout: 3 pairs for 5.1; 4 pairs for 7.1; place them in a circle around the listeners.

• Volume: set all to the same level, around 70-75%.
